New MaXXXine Trailer Sees Mia Goth Get Bloody in Hollywood

A new MaXXXine trailer has dropped for the Mia Goth Hollywood slasher movie, and it’s not shy about chucking the claret about.

The new MaXXXine trailer begins with another trailer for a fake nunsploitation sequel called The Puritan II. that cuts away to reveal the set it’s being filmed on, with Mia Goth’s Maxine watching on.

It then descends into the weird and violent chaos you’d expect after previous entries X and Pearl.

The new MaXXXine trailer below shows what madness awaits. It has a bit of a Giallo vibe, which is what early impressions of the movie had suggested. About 30 seconds in, there’s also a glimpse of Psycho’s Bates Motel.

New MaXXXine trailer: Mia Goth faces off against an unseen force

MaxXxine takes place in 1985 with Mia Goth reprising her role of Maxine Minx from X. It picks up six years after the farmstead massacre of X. Maxine is now residing in LA and still striving to become a star in the acting world. But her chances are hampered by the fact people keep dying around her.

Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, and Lily Collins join Mia Goth in MaXXXine. Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon also have roles.

Yesterday, it was revealed that ahead of the release of MaXXXine next month, a sneak peek of the movie will be shown after a one-night-only theatrical rerelease of West’s first film in the trilogy X.
