Bel-Air Season 3 Trailer: Peacock Reveals First Footage of Summer Return

The Bel-Air Season 3 trailer reveals the first footage of the show’s summer return on Peacock and previews the reimagined drama series that will debut with three episodes on August 15th. The season overall consists of ten episodes.

Bel-Air is set in modern-day Los Angeles and is a reimagining of the beloved The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It looks at the story through a new lens, focusing on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. But as the two worlds collide, Will has to contend with the power of second chances, all while navigating different conflicts, biases, and emotions.

What happens in the Bel-Air Season 3 trailer?

The centerpiece of the trailer is the character Will Smith, who is participating in a road race. He’s joined by Carton Banks, which leads to a Fast and Furious reference. Will says he’s Dom, then takes a jab at Carlton by saying his relative is Dom’s sister. From there, the teaser shows some highlights for Hilary, but there are also some lows. At one point, a character is seen walking away from the sight of a fire.

In Bel-Air Season 3, Will has adjusted to being part of the Banks family. He’s even built up his relationship with Carlton, who is desperate to move on from his addiction and improve on his tarnished reputation. Though the two have made strides, fundamental differences in their worldviews potentially threaten their partnership.

The cast includes Jabari Banks (Will), Adrian Holmes (Phillip Banks), Cassandra Freeman (Vivian Banks), Olly Sholotan (Carlton Banks), Coco Jones (Hilary Banks), Akira Akbar (Ashley Banks), Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey), Jordan L. Jones (Jazz), and Simone Joy Jones (Lisa).

Directors on Bel-Air season 3 are Keesha Sharp, John Scott, Nick Copus, Mo McRae, Rachel Raimist, and Christine Swanson.

Carla Banks-Waddles returns as showrunner, with the series being executive produced by Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Andy and Susan Borowitz, Janeika James, Jasheika James, and Andy Reaser. Producers are Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Westbrook Studios, a division of Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s media company Westbrook Inc.
