The Strangers: Chapter 2 Reveals First Image for Renny Harlin’s Horror Sequel

The first image from Renny Harlin’s The Strangers: Chapter 2 has been revealed.

The image from The Strangers: Chapter 2 sees Madelaine Petsch’s Maya Lucas hiding behind a tree in the middle of the woods while she presumably continues to be hunted by Scarecrow, Dollface, and Pin-Up Girl.

What do we know about The Strangers: Chapter 2?

Plot details for The Strangers: Chapter 2 remain under wraps at this time. Directed by Renny Harlin, the film is being released in late 2024, while The Strangers: Chapter 3 is expected to arrive in early 2025.

The first film in the new trilogy of Strangers movies, The Strangers: Chapter 1, was released in United States theaters last month. Despite receiving mostly negative reviews from critics and fans, it still made approximately $35.4 million at the global box office off an estimated $8.5 million budget.

“After their car breaks down in an eerie small town, a young couple are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin,” the official synopsis reads. “Panic ensues as they are terrorized by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive in THE STRANGERS ― CHAPTER 1, the chilling first entry of this upcoming horror feature film series.”

Directed by Harlin, the script for The Strangers: Chapter 1 was written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. Along with Petsch, it stars Froy Gutierrez as Ryan, Rachel Shenton as Debbie, Gabriel Basso as Gregory, Ema Horvath as Shelly, Richard Brake as Sheriff Rotter, Ella Bruccoleri as Jasmine, Matúš Lajčák as Scarecrow, Olivia Kreutzova as Dollface, and Letizia Fabbri as Pin-Up Girl.

Beyond Petsch, it’s not immediately clear who else from the first movie will be returning for The Strangers: Chapter 2.

The Strangers: Chapter 1 is now available on Premium Video on Demand and Premium Electronic Sell-Through.
