How to Die Alone Release Date Set for Hulu’s Natasha Rothwell Comedy Series

Hulu has announced the How to Die Alone release date for its newest comedy series starring Insecure alum Natasha Rothwell.

“The series follows Melissa (Rothwell), a Black neurotic who’s never been in love. After a comical brush with death, she refuses to settle for anything less than the life she wants, catapulting her on a journey to becoming ‘100% that bitch’ in real life by any means necessary,” reads the official logline.

When is the How to Die Alone release date?

How to Die Alone is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, September 13 with the first four episodes. In addition, the streamer has also shared the show’s first official poster, featuring Rothwell as an airport employee.

The series is written, created and executive produced by Rothwell, who is also serving as a showrunner alongside Vera Santamaria. It also stars Conrad Ricamora as Rory, KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Terrance , Jocko Sims as Alex, and Bashir Salahuddin as Brian. It is executive produced by Santamaria, Desiree Akhavan, and Jude Weng.

Before leading her own comedy series, Rothwell received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress ina Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her acclaimed performance in The White Lotus Season 1. She is slated to reprise her role as Belinda in The White Lotus Season 3, which is currently in production.
