Citadel: Honey Bunny Trailer Previews Indian Spin-off to Prime Video Spy Thriller

Following the recent release of Citadel: Diana, Prime Video has now released a new Citadel: Honey Bunny trailer for Amazon MGM Studios’ newest installment to its growing Spyverse series, which hails from executive producers Anthony and Joe Russo. The Indian spinoff is scheduled to make its debut on November 7 on Prime Video.

“The series follows stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan), who recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig as they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal,” reads the official logline. “Packed with even more adrenaline-fueled action and explosive drama, it follows the estranged elite spies as they reunite years later to protect their young daughter, Nadia, when their dangerous past catches up with them.”

What happens in the Citadel: Honey Bunny trailer?

The video introduces Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the newest leads of the Spyverse franchise. It highlights some of the show’s action-packed sequences featuring the elite spy duo doing everything they can to protect their daughter from their past.

Citadel: Honey Bunny hails from directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who are directing from a screenplay they wrote with Sita R. Menon. It is executive produced by Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, David Weil, and Midnight Radio. The cast also includes Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Simran, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar.

Citadel is a global spy thriller that will be told through multiple shows taking place in the United States, Italy, India, and Mexico, with each version told in the country’s local language. Each Citadel show is also locally created, produced, and filmed in-region, and stars top talent, forming a distinct global franchise.
