Dope Thief Photos Set Release Date for Brian Tyree Henry Apple TV+ Show

Apple TV+ has unveiled the first photos and release date for Dope Thief, an upcoming drama led by Oscar nominee Brian Tyree Henry which is based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name.

The story of Dope Thief centers on two long-time Philly friends and delinquents. They pose as DEA agents in order to rob an unknown house in the countryside. However, they soon find that what was intended as a simple grift becomes a far more dangerous endeavor once they unintentionally put the spotlight on “the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern Seaboard”.

When is the Dope Thief release date?

The crime drama adaptation will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, March 14, 2025. From there, new episodes every Friday through April 25.
