Universal Pictures has announced The Woman in the Yard digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for its latest supernatural horror thriller led by BAFTA nominee Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Piano Lesson). This comes over two weeks since the movie made its theatrical release.

“The film follows Ramona, a woman crippled by grief after she survives a car accident that takes her husband. Seriously injured, Ramona now must care for their 14-year-old son and 6-year-old-daughter, alone in her rural farmhouse. Then one day the woman takes form in their yard,” reads the official synopsis. “Ramona assumes the woman is lost or demented, but as the woman creeps nearer and nearer to the house, it becomes clear she is no ordinary figure and her intentions are anything but peaceful. Now Ramona must rally to protect herself and her children from the grasp of the woman who simply won’t leave them alone.”

When is The Woman in the Yard digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates?

The Woman in the Yard will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms starting tomorrow on April 15. This will then be followed by its Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 27, 2025. Since making its debut, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics. It currently holds a Tomatometer rating of 44% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 57 reviews.

The Woman in the Yard was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Black Adam, Jungle Cruise) from a screenplay written by Sam Stefanak. The cast also included Okwui Okpokwasili, Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson, and Estella Kahiha. It was produced by Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain, with Deadwyler, Collet-Serra, Gabrielle Ebron, Scott Greenberg, and James Moran serving as executive producers.
