A new Superman poster and short teaser trailer have been released.

Superman is the new DCU movie arriving in United States theaters this coming July. Written and directed by James Gunn, it stars David Corenswet as the Man of Steel while Rachel Brosnahan portrays Lois Lane.

When is the new Superman trailer being released?

A new, full-length trailer for Superman will be released on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Ahead of its release, the official Superman X account shared a short teaser that includes some new footage from the DCU movie. Check it out below

A new poster for Superman has also been unleashed and can be seen below via a Blusky post from Gunn:

“Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures,” the official synopsis for the movie reads. “In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor, and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”

In addition to Corenswet and Brosnahan, the cast of Superman includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and Terence Rosemore as Otis.

Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther serve as executive producers on the film, while Gunn and Peter Safran both serve as producers.

DC Studios’ Superman will be released in United States theaters and IMAX on July 11, 2025, from Warner Bros. Pictures.
