Hamilton Sing-Along Version Coming to Disney+

A sing-along version of Hamilton will arrive on Disney+.

The famous Broadway musical from Lin Manuel-Miranda first premiered on Disney+ in July 2020 with its live stage recording from 2015. This highly acclaimed musical follows the life of Alexander Hamilton and his incredible life as a Founding Father and Secretary of Treasury. The American Film Institute named it one of the best movies of 2020.

Three years after its release, Disney+ is releasing a sing-along version of the film with lyrics on the bottom that audiences can sing along to. It releases on Friday, June 30, 2023.

Who is in the Hamilton film cast?

The film features Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; Tony Award nominees Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jonathan Groff as King George; Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton; and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

The cast also includes Carleigh Bettiol, Ariana DeBose, Hope Easterbrook, Sydney James Harcourt, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Elizabeth Judd, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart and Ephraim Sykes.
