The Bride: Netflix Reportedly Exits Christian Bale Frankenstein Movie

Netflix has reportedly exited The Bride movie.

Christian Bale is attached to star in a remake of the 1935 movie Bride of Frankenstein. This movie was a sequel to the 1931 film Frankenstein. It is currently set to be directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was Bale’s co-star in The Dark Knight.

A new report from World of Reel says that Netflix, the studio that was originally going to distribute the film, will not be moving forward. Instead, the project will be shopped elsewhere. Bale and Peter Sarsgaard are still attached to the project.
