Jeremy Allen White’s Bruce Springsteen Biopic Adds Marc Maron & 2 More to Cast
Deliver Me From Nowhere, a Bruce Springsteen biographical drama led by The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White, has added three more names to its cast, including actor and comedian Marc Maron.
The upcoming biopic will center on Springsteen‘s acclaimed 1982 album Nebraska, with White taking on the role of the celebrated musician. It is written and directed by Scott Cooper, based on the book Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska by Warren Zanes.
Deliver Me From Nowhere hails from Disney’s 20th Century Studios. It is currently filming in New Jersey and New York.

According to Variety, Maron is set to play music producer Chuck Plotkin in Deliver Me From Nowhere. He will be joined by Gaby Hoffmann as Springsteen’s mother, Adele Springsteen, and David Krumholtz as music executive Al Teller.
The rest of the cast members include Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser as recording engineer Mike Batlan, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, Johnny Cannizzaro, and Harrison Gilbertson.
Per the plot description (via Variety), Deliver Me From Nowhere “follows Springsteen during the creation of his 1982 album ‘Nebraska,’ a stripped-down record that marked a creative shift from the anthemic ‘Born to Run’ and ‘The River.’”
Maron is best known for his long-running weekly podcast WTF with Marc Maron. He is also known for starring in Netflix’s comedy-drama GLOW, as well as The Horror of Dolores Roach, The Order, Genie, To Leslie, Respect, Stardust, Spenser Confidential, Joker, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and Flock of Dudes, among others.
Hoffmann began her career as a child actress, with starring roles in 1989’s Field of Dreams, Uncle Buck, 1992’s This Is My Life, and 1993’s Sleepless in Seattle. She took a break from acting and returned in 2007, having starred in Severed Ways, Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus, Veronica Mars, and Manhattan Romance, among others.
Meanwhile, Krumholtz is known for his roles in Numb3rs, Slums of Beverly Hills, The Santa Clause, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and Oppenheimer.
